The event brought together a cocktail party, a dj set and a gala dinner conceived by the Michelin-star chef Cristina Bowerman, winner of the Best Female Italian Chef in Europe 2018, in addition to a charity auction for the fund “Give#TUTTICONMANUEL”. Some objects and clothing autographed by champions in this sport were purchased to fund the rehabilitation of Manuele Bortuzzo.

On the starting line, the Panasonic Jaguar Racing Team with New Zealander Mitch Evans, now flanked by Alex Lynn from Great Britain, who will join the team starting with the E-Prix in Rome, replacing Brazilian driver Nelson Piquet Jr. “To be part of the Panasonic Jaguar Team is a great opportunity for me”, stated Alex, who continued: “I want to work hard with Mitch, the engineers and all the technicians to end the season with excellent results”. One official partner is Viessmann, that has put its logo on the livery of the Jaguar cars in the race.

Jaguar and Viesmann have the same passion for innovative technology and for a total commitment to sustainability. On the Roman circuit, fans can admire the Panasonic Jaguar Racing I-Type 3 with a more powerful engine: a more powerful MGU unit makes it possible to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and feature a power unit that can provide up to 250 kW.

Viesmann is now looking into Electric mobility now that, thanks to the joint venture with the BWM Group, it is also developing integrated solutions for recharging electric vehicles: the project includes charging stations for electric cars, a photovoltaic system complete with an accumulator to exploit the electric power it produces itself and a platform to install the complete infrastructure, and especially software to intelligently manage the power that is produced and consumed. A solution conceived primarily for businesses, who consider it a business opportunity to provide an electric vehicle recharging service for their customers.
